Weekly Price Trend: 17-04-2017 to 21-04-2017
- The above given graph focuses on the Toluene price trend for current week.
- This week prices have followed weak trend. By the end of the week domestic prices were assessed Rs 46.5/Kg for bulk quantity for Kandla and Rs.46.5/kg for bulk quantity for Mumbai ports of India.
Total import at various ports of India March, 2017
Above chart represents the imported quantity of Toluene in the month of March, 2017. Total imported quantity previous moth was around 36863mt. Last month at Kandla port higher quantity have been imported, while at Ennore port imports were lesser.

- This week domestic market price was assessed at Rs 46.5/kg for Kandla and Rs. 46.5/kg for Mumbai ports of India.
- CFR India prices were evaluated at USD 680/mt, prices have plunged in compares to previous week.
- CFR China price of toluene were assessed at the level of USD 665/mt.
- FOB Korea prices were evaluated at USD 640/mt prices has decreasedin compare to previous week.
- FOB Korea and CFR China prices of Benzene were evaluated at USD 780/mt and USD 785/mt respectively.
- Presently petrochemical market is moving with slow velocity on account of this toluene demand from end users have remained sluggish.
- This week oil prices have followed mixed trend. On Wednesday oil slumped after U.S. data showed a smaller-than-expected drop in overall crude stocks and a surprising build in gasoline inventories, which raised worries about excessively high global supply.
- As per recent report Taiwanese CPC Corp issues tender to sell June loading toluene.
- Taiwan’s CPC run its No 7 aromatics unit at around 80% after restart.
- West Pacific Petrochemical shuts its Dalian aromatics plant.
- North Chemical closes its Panjin aromatics plant for maintenance turnaround.
