  • The above given graph focuses on the Toluene price trend for current week.
  • This week prices have followed up trend. By the end of the week domestic prices were assessed at Rs 48Kg for bulk quantity for Kandla and Mumbai ports of India.

Total import at various ports of India July, 2017

 

Above chart represents the total imported quantity of Toluene for the month of July 2017. Last month total imports were around 26649mt. As per chart previous month at Kandla port imports were higher while at Vizag port imported quantity were lesser.

  • This week domestic market price was assessed at Rs 48/kg for Kandla and Rs. 48/kg for Mumbai ports of India.
  • CFR India prices were evaluated at USD 670/mt, prices have remained firm in compares to previous week.
  • CFR China price of toluene were assessed at the level of USD 635/mt.
  • FOB Korea prices were evaluated at USD 620/mt prices has decreasedin compare to previous week.
  • This week domestic toluene prices have increased on account of increase demand sentiments from end users.
  • The toluene demand front stands fragmented, but with a TDI plant maintenance heard scheduled for September, it remains to be seen if further downside is seen on premiums.

  • Europe toluene supply calm but distribution gets tighter.
  • This week crude oil prices have remained volatile. On Friday, oil prices rose as the U.S. petroleum industry prepared for potential output disruptions as Hurricane Harvey headed for the heart of the nation’s oil industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
  •  The storm has rapidly intensified since Thursday while On Thursday closing crude values have decreased.WTI on NYME closed at $47.43/bbl, prices have decreased by $0.98/bbl in compared to last closing prices. While Brent on Inter Continental Exchange decreased by $0.53/bbl in compared to last trading and was assessed around $52.04/bbl.
