China based Yankuang Guohong Chemical has delayed the restart of its Methanol unit. The unit was shut down last week due to some technical fault. Jamnagar based Reliance Industries Limited will expand its Jamnagar refinery capacity from 35.2 MT to 41 MT. RIL’s current refinery complex in Jamnagar has a cumulative capacity to process 68.2 MTPA of crude oil. The company did not specify the reason for this shut down, but will leave this business by end of this year.
