Chinese Company Hengyi Petrochemicals announced recently that it will complete the construction of its refinery and complex by 2018 and production will commenced by 2019. Earlier the target was set for 2015 which has been already delayed by more than 4 years. The local construction and authorities are responsible for this delay. NWIW(North West Innovation Works approved two more methanol projects in Kalama. Kaveh Methanol plant which is regarded as one of the world’s largest methanol plant has completed more than 95% of its construction. As announced earlier DNL (Deepak Nitrite Ltd) has started the construction of its mega project to manufacture 200,000 MTPA of Phenol and 120,000 MTPA of the co-product Acetone.
