The on-going investigation of anti-dumping duty on Styrene monomer imports from South Korea, Taiwan and US has delayed the future contract for 2018.
Earlier the investigation was launched in June 2017 and was likely to last for one year. It may be extended for six more months.
Market talks are extensive that provisional anti-dumping duties (ADDs) from a low of 2% to as much as 50% may be imposed depending on producer and country of origin, as early as February 2018.
