The cracker has been restarted by JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy in the last week of September 2018. Earlier the unit was shut down in the second week of August for annual maintenance.
The cracker is based at Kawasaki in Japan and has the production capacity of Ethylene around 4,48,000 mt/year and Propylene around 2,73,000 mt/year.
