GAIL Ltd has approached the environment and forest ministry for setting up a petrochemical complex in Andhra Pradesh. The petrochemical complex will have the capacity of 1 million tone pr annum. Total land required of 2000 acres for the proposed Petrochemical complex, can be acquired from GMR for Kakinada SEZ. The complex will produce 1 MMTPA of Ethylene and Ethylene derivatives.
