GS Caltex has shut down its Toluene unit in the first week of August 2017. The reason behind this abrupt shutdown was fire incident. The unit has not resumed its production yet and uncertainty prevails over its restart.
Unit is based at Yeosu in South Korea and has the production capacity of 1,70,000 mt/year.
