VAM prices plunged on bearish demand

VAM prices in Southeast Asia and India for September shipments remained low on high competition amongst suppliers due to increasing output in China and scrawny demand in the domestic market.

As per report, the strong dollar and bearish demand with good inventory has turned the market bearish and market player are not anticipating the buying interest over $1,050/tonne CFR India.

In Southeast Asia, prices of VAM were at $1,230-1,270/tonne and CFR SE Asia prices were $1,250-1,290/tonne.
